The Pressure to Post Is Killing It.

“The pressure to post is killing it.”

The moment posting turns into a machine I owe feed to every day, the fun drains out of it fast. And when the fun is gone, I stop. So the pressure to post more, ironically, is one of the surest ways to get me to post nothing at all.

Cadence beats intensity

I publish every other day, on purpose. I chose that over daily deliberately, because I wanted a rhythm I could actually keep rather than a sprint I would burn out of. The best schedule is not the most aggressive one on paper. It is the one you are still running a year from now.

Sustainable is a strategy, not a cop-out

It is easy to treat every-other-day as settling, like the real players go harder. But a daily grind you abandon in a month loses badly to a steady rhythm you keep for a year. Consistency over time is the whole game, and you only get consistency from a pace that does not break you.

The takeaway: the goal was never to post the most. It is to still be posting next year.
